About Us

Meet Dr. Frank Petronella

Dr. Frank Petronella has almost 40 years of extensive dental experience in clinical dentistry as well as dental research. Upon graduation from Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery, he completed oral surgery training at Misericordia Medical Center. Dr. Petronella does not limit his practice to oral surgery.

Dr. Petronella's dental career began at an early age. His father Frank was a legendary dental lab technician with whom he apprenticed. Dr. "P" was also on the faculty of Columbia and Harvard dental schools. Several scientific published papers include his name.

"I take pride in being able to provide so many services to my patients." states Petronella. Many patients have followed his career from his Bronx beginnings, through Yonkers and now Tuckahoe. He also resides in Westchester. Often, patients feel as though they are extended family. New referrals include third generation patients. It is not uncommon to smell fresh brewed coffee or biscotti wafting through the waiting room. There is an "old world" flavor of respect and kindness at this practice.
